The third round of the APBA National Tour was held in Ocean Waves of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Chris MacClugage a surf veteran felt right at home in the Atlantic Ocean; in the GP Ski class Chris MacClugage grabbed the holeshot and the moto one victory. Moto number two saw Rick Sherker and Carmine Colangelo giving Macc a fight off the start but the Monster Energy Macc Racing Kawasaki was able to fight past the two taking the moto 2 victory and the over all for the round. Macc Racing’s Kurt Samuels racing the Novice Stock class on a Macc Racing SX-R suffered a steering cable break in moto one taking him out of contention but he was able to race the 2nd moto and take 1st place in that race.
